To enable the serverless pull printing function on the MFP, register the i-Option LK-114 license.
For details on license registration, refer to Here.
Enable the OpenAPI function on the MFP.
Tap [Utility] - [Administrator Settings] - [System Connection] - [OpenAPI Settings] - [Access Setting].
Select [Allow], then tap [OK].
If you change the SSL Enable/Disable status in [SSL/Port Settings] of [OpenAPI Settings] after serverless pull printing settings have been completed, reconfigure settings using LK-114_SetupTool.
Configure the user authentication method for the MFP.
On the MFP, select [Utility] - [Administrator Settings] - [User Authentication/Account Track] - [General Settings] - [User Authentication], then specify one of the following authentication methods.
MFP authentication
External server authentication
MFP authentication + External server authentication (Destination: MFP)
MFP authentication + External server authentication (Destination: External server)
Enhanced server authentication
MFP authentication + Enhanced server authentication (Destination: MFP)
MFP authentication + Enhanced server authentication (Destination: Enhanced server)
Enhanced server authentication + External server authentication (Destination: External server)
Set the same authentication method to all MFPs that make up a serverless pull printing group.
To perform the external server authentication using the IC card, you need to permit the quick authentication. For details on how to permit the quick authentication, refer to Here.
When composing a serverless pull printing group involving different models, permit the quick authentication.
Tap [Utility] - [Administrator Settings] - [User Authentication/Account Track] - [Simple Auth. setting] - [Authentication Setting].
Select [Allow], then tap [OK].
To use Data Administrator for settings, double-click Device on the device list, click [Authentication Settings] - [Simple Print Authentication], then select the [Enable Simple Print Authentication] check box.
